From One Sabeel To More Than 25 Clean Water Points

Sometimes meaningful change begins with something as simple as making sure someone has clean water to drink.
It started with a simple suggestion.
During Muharram, someone proposed establishing a Sabeel, a place where people could access free drinking water as an act of service and remembrance.
The idea was simple: provide water where people need it.
But instead of limiting the initiative to a single occasion, Family and Fellows Foundation asked a bigger question: what if this simple act of service could provide clean drinking water every day?
That thought gave rise to the Clean Water Storage Initiative.
What began as one Sabeel transformed into more than 25 clean water storage tanks installed across Punjab and Balochistan, in schools and public places where communities can access drinking water throughout the year.
Today, these water points serve more than 10,000 people, turning a moment of generosity during Muharram into a lasting community resource.
A simple suggestion became a sustainable initiative.
